We notice after R12 upgrade, BIP catalog folders are changed. I can find folders suffixed with '_customized_<Timestamp>'. 
what is the significance of this folders? Why it is being created? 
Also we are not able to 'Price' catalog folder under 'Shared folder'. Only we could see 'Price.customized_20170523_041939'. 

Have you had a similar situation on your HCM upgrade to R12? How did you resolve this issue. Would be helpful if you can provide a view.
