Business Unit Update on Position using HDL - ERROR

Dear All,

We are changing Business Unit of position and person assignment to a new one. We are first updating the BU for position using HDL and later updating the related person assignments 

Issue is: when we try updating a position without any history records, (no date track updates in position) and with Incumbent then the HDL is updating the business unit to the new one. 
But when we use a position with historical records (with multiple date track changes) then it is giving an error “You cannot update the business unit for the position with the code <PositionCode> because an incumbent exists today or in future.
