Vanity URL for HCM Cloud

It'd be great if there's a way of accessing HCM Cloud via a friendlier/more memorable URL than the delivered one (with a 5 part FQDN):

Instead of:
https://hxxx.fs.em3.oraclecloud.com/homePage/faces/FuseWelcome

It could be:
https://hr.clientname.com/homePage/faces/FuseWelcome

or even:
https://hr.clientname.com/

I can see that there's an ER here:
https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?id=18807611

however it has been open for 3 years without much in the way of acknowledgment.
