Cannot find reporting that shows assets with adjustted cost basis

From fixed assets module, I'm generally using the Journal Entry Reserve Report to query asset information by asset, category and in summary.  In Aug-17 period, I made adjustments to the cost basis of several assets.  The Journal Entry Reserve Report is only showing the original cost basis.  Attempts made to create a custom report to include original and current cost basis have failed - original cost basis does not populate and current cost basis returns an unexpected value for the adjusted assets.
