When we look at reporting tools available in fusion for financial reporting (based on GL Balances) we always lean to FRS for static formats and Smartview for adhoc data queries. But Smartview can be used to create static format reports using functions, values refreshed in the same cells without changing format.

This opens up new ways of reporting where we can pull data from Fusion in one sheet and use non fusion data from different sheet and completely create new report using fusion and non fusion data.
