Learning plan recurrence and My Task Widget

Learning plan recurrence and My Task Widget

Content

Two years ago we launched our anti-harassment training for supervisors using the Enrollment feature.  About 200 users completed the course.  We then scrapped Enrollments in favor of Learning Plans.  We now use Learning Plans for all of our employee training.  We set up the same course that we used two years ago into a Recurring Learning Plan so it will automatically assign the course every two years.

Yesterday I assigned the original 200 user group to the recurring learning plan and held my breath.  The good news as the system behaved as I expected and sent a notice to those users that they needed to take the course.  However, we use the My Task Widget to show users what courses have been assigned and what their status is.  Unfortunately for this Learning plan it shows it as Completed.  The Due Date is correct.  Any suggestions on this?
