Assignment "Assign As" parameter

Has anyone edited the Lookup "ORA_WLF_ASSIGN_ATTR_LOOKUP" (i.e. the 'Assign As' dropdown for a learning assignment) in their environment? I'm finding that the default values cannot be end-dated or disabled in this lookup.

I understand that the value 'SELF' assigns the item as the logged in person, so this needs to be kept, but is there any reason why the other values (Office of the CEO, Legal Department, Security Team) cannot be disabled?  Are there any known issues with updating the Meaning/Description for these values to something more suitable, or should I just add additional values as new rows?
