Tip on how to remove the dashboard header when embedding a dashboard into a custom page

Content

I have been asked a few times recently if it is possible to embed a dashboard into a custom page without the dashboard header information.

This is easy to do, simply:

- open the first tab in your dashboard from the catalog and copy the URL which will look something like:

https://xxxx.com/analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard&PortalPath=%2Fshared%2FCustom%2F_portal%2FDiversity&page=Main%20Focus%20Areas

- replace the word Dashboard after the question mark with PortalPages

https://xxxx.com/analytics/saw.dll?PortalPages&PortalPath=%2Fshared%2FCustom%2F_portal%2FDiversity&page=Main%20Focus%20Areas
