Using Absence for TOIL
Summary
Ideas for using Absence module for colleagues to log and take TOIL (Time Off In Lieu)Content
Hi,
Interested to hear from anyone who is using the Absence functionality to enable colleagues to log TOIL worked and TOIL taken back. Our idea is to create two Absence Types of 'TOIL Worked' and 'TOIL Taken'. The colleague would then enter 'TOIL Worked' for the time they are building up and then enter 'TOIL Taken' for days where they want to take the time back.
We propose to use a formula that counts the number of entries for 'TOIL Worked' and use that to calculate the balance.
