Recurring Learning Plans, grant "course credit" and change the assigned date

Summary

Need to be able to to give credit to people for a recurring LP

Content

Sometimes people complete the requirements prior to the recurrence of the learning plan kicking in.  I want to be able to give credit for those completions and have the recurrence trigger off that date the next time.  My learning plan is assigned to a group so when new team members join the group they get the learning plan or when they leave the group the LP is unassigned ... and I'm out of the picture of manually assigning those LPs.

I used the LP bulk loader to change the "assigned date" of the recurring LP to an earlier date ("new date" is reflected in reports), but when I add a course completion, with the older date that's after the new assigned date ... credit is NOT acknowledged in the LP ... but if I change the date of the course completion to the "original" assign date (which was today), the LP marks as complete as if it really remembers when the LP was assigned.

Howdy, Stranger!
