Pay smoothening

Summary

How to pay an employee the same amount of hours automatically each pay.

Content

Hi,

Does anybody perform pay smoothening for hourly employees?

For example, an employee works a shift that is 15 days on 13 days off (10 hour days). We use a third party and interface hours worked to the Payroll module, but we always want to pay the employee 75 hours biweekly. For example, PP1, employee works 11 days (110 hours), system will override amount during processing and only pay 75 hours (35 hours less than worked). PP2, employee works 40 hours, and system will override and pay 75 hours (35 hours more than worked).

We used to use JDE9.1 and the field that worked for this was called Pay on Standard Hours, where the standard hours were set to equal 75.
