I would like to display report results in a pivot table

Our LMS has a suite of learning plans containing a unique pre-quiz, course, and post-quiz.  I would like to create a report that shows each assigned user's status for each item in the following format:

Learning Plan Name	Pre-Quiz Status	Course Status	Post-Quiz Status
Plan 1	Completed	Completed	Completed
Plan 2	Completed	Incomplete	Not Attempted
Plan 3	Not Attempted	Not Attempted	Not Attempted

The only thing I can do is this:

Learning Plan	Item	Status
Plan 1	Pre-Quiz	Completed
Plan 1	Course	Completed
Plan 1	Post-Quiz	Completed
Plan 2	Pre-Quiz	Completed
Plan 2	Course	Incomplete
