Merit worksheets - Merit budget pool set up quesiton
Summary
Merit budget pool set up expected functionality?Content
We have a compensation plan set up with the Merit Budget pool to 'allow over budget when allocating compensation' maximum percentage over allocation = 20%.
I have tested on a manager with indirect and direct reports.
If I have the filter set on direct reports and I attempt to go over my allocation by 20% or more the system provides an error message and stops me. However, if i set my filter to all (indirect and direct) and I attempt to submit my 20% or more on one of my employees the system will allow the submittal. I'm sure this is due to the fact that I now have a larger budget pool (with my indirects added in).
