Delete Phone Numbers for 1000 employees

Hi,

We need to delete about 1000 phone numbers from the employees' records.

Does anyone know how to do it? Can I do it via Spreadsheet data loader (It seems that via this tool I can only add or update but not delete) ?

I would appreciate your help!
