How can we allocate actual manufacturing expenses to production ?

Currently as I see Oracle manufacturing costing is done by setting up standard hourly rates for resources and overhead if any. Instead of one expensive pool we can have multiple expense pools and split the standard rate across across multiple streams and will be useful for reporting.

But the standard rates are nevertheless an estimate not actual. How can we achieve associating actuals to the production within the current functionality ? Any pointers appreciated.
