How can a manager update the due date for an assignment?

It is really usfull that managers can use catalogue items to make required assignments to their employees, but we also have the request that managers should be able to update these assignments when appropriate.

We have tried to just create a new assignment with e new due date but that didn't work.

Does anyone know if this is possible or on the roadmap as otherwise we need to advise the users they will have to contect the L&D departments.
