Looking for information about Cancel Work Relationship action

Content

Hello,

I am looking for documentation about "Cancel Work Relationship" action - I would like to know what does it do to employee's record, and if it cancels all connections between the employee and the system (i.e. employment, benefits, comp etc.).

If you had a person who was entered into the system as an "Employee" but you had to change them to "Contingent Worker" as they were never truly an employee, would you Cancel their Work Relationship and hire them as a Contingent Worker, or would you Terminate their Work Relationship and then Add a New Work Relationship as a Contingent Worker? In this case we would prefer not to keep their "Employee" record, as it should have never existed, and we want to reflect their profile as "Contingent Worker" since their original hire date. What would be the best practice

Howdy, Stranger!
