How to view transaction details after transaction has been approved

I am trying to view the transaction details that were submitted, but when I go to BPM worklist, it says "The transaction details are no longer available here because the approval process is complete." 

How am I able to view/find out what details were submitted? 

This is related to any transaction submitted, but the current one I am trying to find out is for a salary adjustment approval request.
