Changing Department and Organization Trees

Question about this practice

Our business wants to  change the Department Tree for reporting purposes. At first the request was to add more levels, but now that need has changed into deleting 2 business units-we currently have 6 and changing the names of all of the departments.  Now, I would think if doing this exercise, you would need to update the organization tree as well.  Since our approvals and integrations are built around our Business units, there ramifications associate with this.  I think information is needed to be captured and making sure those fields are available for BI reporting.  They want this by May.

Howdy, Stranger!
