When an Employee Schedules an Absence an Approval Notification is sent to their Manager.

If the Manager does not Approve the Notification but does the following the Absence is approved but the Notification is not approved which means it will escalate up the manager hierarchy:

1) Login as the Manager 
2) Navigate: My Team > My Team
3) Select the Actions icon for the Employee who submitted the Absence
4) Select Absence > Manage Absence Records
5) Click on the Absence Date Link for the Absence which is Awaiting Approval.  Do not change any details of the Absence.
6) Click on the Submit button
