OTL Time card: Is it possible to default Project, Task, and Expenditure for an employee on the Time Card?

We would like to default Project/Task and Expenditure type to may be the first value in the drop down. Is it possible via page customization? Did anyone try this before? Any guidance will be very much appreciated. Please do let me know your inputs if it's not possible. Thanks.
