Common competencies and different rating models

Company is using common set of competencies for all staff to perform evaluation. As per the requirement need to change the competency rating model for set of users. For them need to create a new rating model. Currently Proficiency rating model is using to rate all competencies. As a result of new change proficiency rating model will use by set of users and new rating model will use by set of users to evaluate common competencies.
Competency gap chart is now functioning perfectly but with the new change employees whose competencies rating with new rating model can not update the gap chart. Is there a way to update competency gap chart for them also ?
