Hire Date/Enterprise Start Date for Global Transfer

Summary

How to best track original FTE hire date in the system and pull accurately on reports

Content

Hi everyone,

My question is around the Hire Date field and/or Enterprise Start date.

We have an employee in Europe who is transfering to a new country thus having them fall into a new Legal Employer. The transfer will be effective as of 4/1/2018 but, the business wants to ensure that for benefits and bonus eligibility that everything still dates back to her original hire date. If I make the Global Transfer effective as of 4/1/2018 then, that is the date that gets filled in as the Hire Date for the new Legal Employer and is what will then end up pulling onto our reports.

Howdy, Stranger!
