Is there a way to create a BI report to include the root and all it's sub-categories?

For example, listed below is an example of one of our categories outlining the root and all of the sub-categories. Is there a way to build a report and include all of these sub-categories of the root on the output of the report? If so, would anyone be willing to share?

Root Category>ILT Class Enrollments>Maintenance Technical Training>Detroit Diesel, etc.
