Global Transfer and Date Start
Summary
Global Transfer Transaction and Reporting on Latest Hire DateContent
When we process a Global Transfer, terminating the assignment in one Legal Employer and creating a new assignment in a new Legal Employer, it sets a termination date on PER_PERIODS_OF_SERVICE table on the current PERIOD_OF_SERVICE_ID and then creates a new PERIOD_OF_SERVICE_ID with a new DATE_START effective of the date of the new Legal Employer assignment.
This is causing issues with reporting on the most recent/last hire date and/or rehire date. The employee is not terminating from our organization, but moving to a new LE.
