Global Temporary Assignments - retaining home country absence enrollments

We have several high profile employees who go on global temporary assignments e.g. between the US and the UK.

They are processed to move from one legal entity to another.

They can be paid in the home and/or the host country.

However, they can only have absence plans linked to the host country.  This means that some senior employees have to track absences outside of Oracle HCM as due to legislation differences the entitlements between countries varies, and/or the type of absences vary.

Is there a way for someone on a global temporary assignment to remain enrolled in the absence plans of their home country?
