New assignment transaction updates the Last Updated Date on previous assignments

This was originally posted in the Reports forum. It was suggested to post it here as well since " the issue seems to be the way the update date is getting updated in Global HR."

My team is in the proces of implementing Global HR HCM for a client on 18B. We have a requirement to report on each employee's assignment change history within a period and on each row identifying if the change was sent with a future date or a past date at the time. We can't find a way of doing this. Knowoing if a transaction was sent retroactively or witha future date is a common requirement that we expect our other clients will have when migrating to HCM.
