My Team Reporting export

what needs to be set up to allow a manager to export a report from the my team page?

Under the my team DO, when it first comes up you can see the Actions drop down and then the export to section, however when you drop down to say view a report on learning plans, the export button goes away. Is there a way to allow managers/supervisors to export the report from the my team page? Just want to make sure there is not something I am missing here. Thanks.
