Responsive UI Directory Search Box not working

Summary

Place the cursor in the main search box type a name and wait 10 min and still nothing returns. Have to click on advanced search and bypass the main page completely.

Title, Summary and image pretty much explain the issue. If you've encountered this issue plz share how you got directory search working.
