Cutting string at a certain character in SQL BI Publisher
Summary
i want to cut a string at a certain point of a string in BI PublisherContent
Hi All, I have a department name however in the middle there is a . (full stop) and i want to cut the string either side of this full stop so i want to retain the string to the left and right.
For Example StringA.StringB
I want to cut the full stop out and produce two columns of data:
String A
String B
I am using SUBSTR but now it tells me LEN is an invalid identifier. Has anyone else had this problem in BI Publisher and solved how to cut string at a certain character.
