calc rules for FCCS_Balance account

If you choose to disable to out of the box calc rule for FCCS_Balance, can you add your own calc script to this account or do you need to create a new account?  Went to the seminar last year and have the calc script to use to calc out of balance at top custom members vs each individual intersection but we used a different account.  Not sure if that was for example purposes or if it is required that a different account be used.

Last implementation used the out of the box rules.
