France - unable to meet legal requirement in relation to part time workers declaring absences

In France, for people who work part-time, they need to declare absences even on non-working days.

We assign work schedules to FR employees including those who are part time.

If an employee was working Mon - Wed and were ill on Thurs and Fri, they have to be able to input the Thurs and Fri to Oracle HCM although they are not scheduled to work on those days.

Has anyone found a solution to this legal requirement?

Thanks

Jennifer
