Start Date of the new Assignment is defaulting as the Hire Date instead of Current Date while conver

Summary

While converting an FTC to Permanent employee we expect the Start date to be defaulted as the Effective Start date of the new Assignment however the Start Date is defaulting as Hire Date.

At Manage Employment tab when an FTC's (Fixed Term Contractor) assignment is changed to Permanent then the Default start date is reflecting as hire date and not the current date. However when the FTC's term is extended then the Contract Extension date is pulling the correct Current date.

Although HZ_RS_DEF_START_DATE Profile option is set to Current Date (not the HIRE Date) yet the assignment start date is defaulting as Hire date.

Howdy, Stranger!
