How to disable the pencil/edit icon for past dated absence request?

Hi,

I have a requirement to hide/disable the pencil/edit icon for all the past dated absence records which were requested and approved. Please let me know the setups/configurations to be done to hide/disable the pencil/edit icon from Employees login.

Waiting for positive responses.

I am attaching a screenshot where all the absence records are past dated one.
