Remap Users to Recurring Learning Plan?

Will remapping users to an existing recurring learning plan reset everyone as a new assignment, or will it remap based on previous actual completion?

Hello!

We have a recurring learning plan that has been in place for a couple of years. We recently made a tweak to the mapped courses within it: We added an updated version of the original course, and left the original course in there as a placeholder for the reassignment function. Unfortunately, when we updated the learning plan, we forgot to make both of the courses optional right away, so we had to go back in there and select both courses as optional, and then go into the Options tab to make 1 optional item mandatory for completion.
