Summary

Changing Metadata forces the re-calculation of ownership

Content

Making any metadata changes and refreshing the database is forcing the user to re-calculate ownership. Because of this all entities get impacted for all the years and periods therefore re consolidation is needed for all the periods again.

Is this the expected behavior ?? Am I doing something wrong ?? It doesnt make sense that because of one simple change, for example adding a new account all the data from the application has to be re consolidate

I read this chapter on the admin manual https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/financial-consolidation-cloud/agfcc/consolidation_recomputing_ownership.html
