FYI Absence Notification to Employee

Summary

Employee does not receive a notification when a manager submits and absence request on the employees behalf

Content

We have never allowed managers to submit an absence request for an employee. In R13 the manager now has this capability and removing privileges and personalization are not working very well. With that we are looking to enable the functionality for managers, however our testing reveals that an employee does not receive an notification when a manager submits an absence on his/her behalf. I have looked through the approval rules in the BPM, but don't see how a notification can be sent to the employee.

Howdy, Stranger!
