How is Exchange rate calculated when the data load is YTD

Hi there all

Question: 

Can someone please clarify for me how does the FCS system make the calculations once the data have been loaded (YTD)? For example, when the system calculates the exchange rates, are they calculated from YTD o Periodic data? Can we select both options?

 

I would like to know the underlying FCCS process to understand the results.
