Use dashboard parameters in a sub-report
Summary
Use dashboard parameters in a sub-reportContent
We have a dashboard utilizing an OTBI analysis that requires a sub-report. The sub-report needs the begin/end date parameters entered in the dashboard to produce accurate results. How can I do this? The business case is as follows:
- Dashboard is used to find employees with no Standard Earnings but with Supplemental Earnings and display assignment number, element name, and amount.
- This cannot be accomplished with one OTBI analysis because elements inherently are either Standard Earnings or Supplemental Earnings, but not both.
- The sub-report will be used to find employees with zero Standard Earnings based on begin/end date
