18C - Employment Information - Managers Section - Shows all managers employee ever had

Hello,
On the responsive design UI, under Employment Information, there is a managers section, we have noted this displays the name of every manager that employee has ever had, even if they have left.
We raised an SR saying, should this not be just the current manager, as it is confusing for as user as to which person they are actually reporting to.
The SR response was
In Employment Info the expected behavior is to have all the manager from history, this is how the program was designed. If the request here is to see the current manager, please go to Manage employment , and there you will see the current manager of that user.
