I have observed that the " Accounting Date" and "Accounting Period" columns in the "Time-Fiscal Calendar" presentation table are mapped to the invoice date which doesn't really make sense. Invoice date and Accounting date are 2 different field and have very different meaning in the financial world.  

If you want to get the correct accounting date, utilize the "Accounting Date" field under the "invoice detail" presentation table.
