If we update Org Level Item Category in PDH through soap UI, it is not firing item update event in OIC

Hello All,

If we update Org Level Item Category in PDH through soapUI, it is not firing item update event in OIC. When we do it through PDH UI screens, item update event is firing. Do you know any issue or is it expected functionality..?

 

Where as Item Category update for master org firing item update event from both SoapUI and PDH screens...

Pls let us know if you came across this..?

Also, can we turn-off firing one more event when we update the item in PDH through OIC..?
