Creating substitution variable in EPRCS application

Hi all,

I understand that we can now use substitution variable in Management Report.  Is it possible to create a substitution variable in the EPRCS application (such as the Sample Application)?  Also, it will be so handy to be able to link the subvar to a Report Package variable.  Any ideas?
