Storing Course Content

edited Nov 28, 2018 9:49PM in Learning 1 comment

Summary

Best practice for storing Training course content inside or outside LMS

Content

We are in process of implementing learning. Have 500-1000 individual courses.

The SI is recommending to store course content outside LMS in a  shared cloud environment to reduce administrative burden and ease of maintenance. Wanted to get a view of best practices from the installed base and pros and cos of LMS storage vs. outside storage. If outside, what are the recommended options. We have SharePoint but that is being phased out. Any recommendations would be appreciated
