Change working hours approval email missing critical info

Hi,
I have enhanced the Change Working hours workflow so that it now requests approval from the worker (employee) when a line manager submits a changes in hours.
The new approval rule works very well however the notification that the worker (employee) receives does not show current and proposed data changes, rendering the notification useless.
Can anyone advise how to remedy this scenario? am i missing some permissions for worker?
