Configuration: Common Use Cases Configured Using V3 Seniority Dates
Summary
Configuration: Common Use Cases Configured Using V3 Seniority DatesContent
Requirement: A very comprehensive Seniority Dates functionality was introduced in 17D (13.17.11). This is branded as Version 3 of the Seniority Dates functionality.
While V3 supports use of Fast Formula, most common customer requirements can still be met with configuring V3 without Fast Formula.
Three such common use cases and their recommended configurations are documented in the white paper published on My Oracle Support (MOS)
"Common Use Cases Configured Using V3 Seniority Dates (Doc ID 2476188.1)"
I have also attached that white paper here for quick reference. However, since we may keep updating that white paper based on customer and partner inputs, do check the MOS Doc ID for the latest comparison document.
