Supplemental Absence Details in Absence Type

Please make us understand the working of Supplemental Absence details in Absence Type display features and Late Notification Evaluation. We have tried enabling the Late Notification Evaluation rule with the condition earlier than absence start date + 2  but unable to find the impact of same on the absence recording.
