Cannot Select Customer after De-Activating Customer Site

Hello Gurus!

We are facing a bizarre behavior in our PROD instance that has never occurred before. Basically, our client has a customer. The customer has 1 account and three sites. One of these sites needs to be de-activated so the client goes into "Manage Customers" and de-activates the site with today's date (they did it Monday so 10-Dec-2018).

After having done this, the customer can no longer be searched and used in the "Create Transaction" page. We tried in the "Manage Recurring Bill Plan" page and we still cannot use the customer. If we look in the "Review Customer Account Details", we can search the customer account and its activity. This is happening for two different customers but not others that also have sites which were de-activated.
