Note to Self: Fixing timeout errors in BIP
Summary
Solution to BIP timeout errors from Support Document 2307631.1Content
Bit of a noddy one, but this is really just a note to myself as I occasionally encounter this issue when working in BI Publisher and can never seem to find the Support document that gives the solution (since the problem can manifest itself with a variety of different error messages).
The support document is 2307631.1
The solution (copied from 2307631.1) is:
1. Log in xmlpserver with EDIT privileges
2. Update the following settings for the data model of the report:
Data Model > Properties
Set Database Fetch Size to 300
Set the query time out to 6 hours (=21600)
