Census Occupation Code

Maintaining the Census Occupation Code in Oracle on the Job Details screen

Content

Hello Community,

Is anyone maintaining the 4 digit Census Occupation Code (example 0800 for Accountant) on the Job Details screen in Oracle?  If so, where are you tracking it and how do you have it set up?  It doesn't appear to be a seeded field within Oracle, so it looks like it would need to be set up as a defined flex field.  Just curious to know if anyone else is tracking this information and how they are handling this.

The need for tracking the 4 digit Census Occupation Code is related to Affirmative Action reporting.  Our new vendor uses the 4 digit Census Occupation Code, so we're exploring options as far as maintaining it in the system.

Howdy, Stranger!
